The bulk of the body is build on a frame of
wire and wood. The frame is then covered with cotton to flesh out
the shape and tied into place with thread. After this is completed,
the clay extremities are glued onto the frame. After hours of chipping
away excess clay from the head and sawing away part of the frame and squishing
and stretching the cotton and bending the metal, and breaking more fingers,
the gluing was complete. I, however, was tiring of the process and
losing faith that I would find joy in my art.
